FAQ's

HOW DO I SELECT A DELIVERY DATE?
At checkout, the next available day for delivery can be selected. Order before 2:00pm for next day delivery, or pick up is also available. If a day is not available, that means you have missed the cut off time or we are not open/delivering on that day.

Sorry, but we do not do same day delivery.

 

CAN I ORDER IN ADVANCE?

Yes, you can order up to 3 weeks in advance.

 

CAN I REQUEST A DELIVERY TIME?

Due to the volume of orders, unfortunately this is not an option. Please write in the instructions your preferred time slot, but we CANNOT GUARANTEE that it will be delivered at that time.

Orders will arrive between 8:30am - 4pm on your selected date, or during the Business Hours you have supplied us with.

 

DO YOU DELIVER TO:

BUSINESS ADDRESSES?
Definitely!
Please be sure to write the NAME OF BUSINESS & OPEN HOURS, as well as the recipient of the gift box.

SCHOOLS?
Of course. All school delivery’s will be left at reception for the recipient to collect.
Please be sure to write the SCHOOL NAME & the recipient in the delivery/shipping information.

HOSPITALS?
Yes,
PLEASE write clear instructions of WHO it is for, and WHERE to go.  If the hospital ward can also be included, that would be great!

SHOPPING CENTRES?

Yes! Please write the NAME OF BUSINESS & OPENING HOURS, as well as the recipient.
Also include clear instructions of where to go, eg is it inside or outside, level 1 etc.

UNITS/APARTMENTS?
Yes we can!
As these are No Access buildings, someone MUST be home to receive delivery, or have an arrangement to leave with reception. Please be sure to write these instructions in the notes at checkout. If the box cannot be left, it will be returned to Doughnut World where it will need to be picked up, or, for an additional delivery charge, may be redelivered at a later time.

 

CAN I WRITE A PERSONALISED MESSAGE?

Most definitely! We encourage you to personalise your box with a message! All notes will be stuck on the underside of the lid or on a card inside the box.

 

HOW DOES MY PACKAGE COME?
All doughnut boxes and bouquets come as they are seen on the website, in 1 of our printed boxes or, a box with a clear lid. Receipt and billing details are not attached. 

If it is a gift, please make sure you write who the box is from in the 'personalised message' box, at checkout. 

 

CAN YOU LEAVE THE BOX IF NO ONE IS AT HOME?
A large number of our doughnuts contain fillings that require refrigeration. Please ensure someone is able to take receipt of the box upon delivery. If no one is home at the time of delivery, please leave a cooler bag & ice block out for your box to be placed in, (this will also ensure that no creepy crawlies find their way inside & help themselves to the doughnuts!). If the box has to be left, we take no responsibility if the doughnuts &/or their fillings spoil. We take no responsibility for any damaged goods after the box has been delivered.

 

I WROTE THE WRONG ADDRESS?
If you have written the wrong address on the order, please contact us immediately via email. If it has already been successfully delivered we have no responsibility for this, you will need to collect it yourself in most cases. If we need to deliver to a different address on the day of delivery, you will be charged with a re-delivery standard fee + 10% of your purchase box.

 

DO YOUR BOXES HAVE NUTS?
Yes, all of our products may contain traces of, or include, various types of nuts.

 

GLUTEN FREE OR VEGAN BOXES?
Unfortunately at the moment we don't have any gluten or vegan options. Sorry!

 

HOW LONG DOES MY BOX LAST?
Our doughnuts are best consumed on the day of delivery. We do not recommend leaving them overnight, BUT, if you must leave it overnight, store in the fridge as most of the doughnuts have perishable fillings. Bring to room temperature again before eating.

 

CAN I CUSTOMISE MY ORDER

You must get in contact with us before you place your order for any customisation requests. We will then advise as to whether or not we can fulfil the custom request.


WHAT PAYMENT METHODS DO YOU ACCEPT?
Credit Card & Paypal. Bank Transfer is only available through direct contact with us for customised orders.


CORPORATE OR PR ORDERS
We certainly do! You can even place your own branding and products within the boxes. Please email hello@doughnutworldadelaide.com.au with a brief, including your budget, and we can arrange this.
